support of a number of local individuals who provided our first
residence. Since then, Bruce House has grown. The agency now
manages a seven-bed residence, providing round the clock personal
care. Bruce House also manages twenty-four apartments throughout
the city for people living with HIV and AIDS.
Our client base consists of men, women, and
children with HIV/AIDS who need appropriate housing and support.
They include a cross-section of our local community representing
those who wish to live in an independent setting or in a group
residence providing twenty-four hour care.
Bruce House provides services for people living
with HIV/AIDS that is unavailable through any other agency in
the Region. Services provided are:
• Apartment Program (Independent Living Program)

We fight to reduce the systemic barriers that foster the transmission of HIV, such as homophobia, poverty, and racism.
People Living with HIV/AIDS) à notre travail.
